James MacDougall

James MacDougall earned his PhD in Biostatistics from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. MacDougall is
currently a statistical consultant for Pharmaceutical and
Biotechnology companies. He has worked at numerous industry
position across New England including Pfizer, Genzyme,
Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals. His primary
interests include the application of statistical methods for
Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials. He has co-authored over 30
publications and external presentations and was an author for
the book Dose Finding in Drug Development. He is a member of the
American Statistical Association and past president of the
Boston Chapter of the American Statistical Association.
