The Chernoff symposium “Celebrating the Foundations and Impact of Statistics: A
Symposium Honoring the 95th Birthday of Herman Chernoff” will be held
on Friday, April 27, 2018, 10:00am to 6:30pm, at Hilles Hall, 59
Shepard St, Cambridge, MA 02138.
The symposium will feature speakers who are former students, former collaborators, or
researchers influenced by Professor Chernoff’s work. Registration is
