We are launching the 2019 NESS NextGen Mentorship Program
to connect members who are newer to the field of statistics and data
science with mentors who are more experienced in industry and/or
academia. All members of NESS are invited to participate in this
mentorship program.

April 31st, 2019
Am I eligible?
All members of NESS at any stage in his or her career are
encouraged to participate in the mentorship program. If you are
interested in becoming a member of NESS, you can sign up
here.
How will mentors be matched?
Mentors and mentees will be assigned in pairs. These pairs will be
based on past experiences and future aspirations.
How do I participate?

You are able to be both a mentor and mentee. The program will kick off at the
2019 New England Statistics Symposium
on May 15-17 at Hilton Hartford with a special reception and meet and
greet. You do not have to attend the symposium to participate. After
that you and your mentor/mentee will decide how often you would like
to meet. Meetings can be in person or over Skype.
