The New England Statistical Society (NESS), alongside the 2022 New England Rare
Disease Statistics (NERDS) Organizing Committee, is pleased to announce that we
will be hosting an in-person workshop (Friday, December 16, 2022) this year at
the University of Connecticut, Storrs campus.
Participants are invited to
attend either in-person or virtually (hybrid) based on their personal
preference. The workshop will consist of several talks and open discussions
focused on the current state of statistical and clinical research in rare
disease drug development, as well as ample opportunity for networking.
Although we have had highly successful virtual webinar series over the past two
years (>600 registrants in 2021), this year we aim to keep the conversation
going with a hybrid 1-day workshop aimed to keep our rare disease community
connected and informed of recent advances and research. We are all thrilled to
bring NERDS back in-person for the first time since 2019!
Registration is now open at
https://nerds.nestat.org. Once you register,
you will receive notifications regarding any changes to the program and agenda,
as well as all NERDS-related announcements.
If you have any questions, please contact program chair Jeff Palmer
