The symposium will take place October 22–23, 2026, at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center, Longwood Amphitheatre, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts.
This year’s theme is:
Thrive with statistical thinking in the age of AI: inference, uncertainty, and interpretability guiding high-impact decisions.
DSDSS 2026 will bring together researchers and professionals from biotechnology, pharmaceutical science, academia, healthcare, public health, and quantitative science for two days of scientific exchange, collaboration, and networking.
Program Highlights
Eight scientific sessions will cover topics including:
- Causal Evidence and Real-World Data
- High-Dimensional Learning for Biomedical Data
- Advanced Technologies and Bayesian Methodology in Clinical Trials
- AI in Drug Discovery and Translational Research
- Digital Health and Wearable Sensors
- High-Dimensional Genomics
- Explainable Artificial Intelligence
The program will also feature keynote presentations from:
- Susan Murphy, Harvard University
- Gonçalo Rocha Abecasis, Regeneron Genetics Center
Additional activities will include poster presentations and networking opportunities across academia, industry, and the broader data science community.
